Purchased W2B500 Water Softener through Amazon to replace a block water softener that had stopped working and wasn't worth repairing. Their prices were far more competitive than anything else I could find and the reviews were generally positive. The... softener itself arrived a few days later and the installation itself took about 2 hours as I didn't have to change any of the existing pipework. It's now been in for nearly 7 months and the salt running costs are significantly lower than my old block water softener given that it uses less salt and a 25kg bag of salt pellets is far cheaper than 3 x 8Kg blocks (£10 vs £20.87). I'd also add that the capacity and throughput is far greater than our old softener which in turn means the showers have more pressure and flow. Overall highly recommend their softeners.číst dál

It's been 3 weeks since we installed W2B500 water softener and we are very happy that we bought it. I did check Harveys, but their hidden hiked-up price quotes, superficial discounts, and many bad reviews on customer service post-sale, we decided... to go with Water2buy which is simple and honest in their sales of water softeners here in the UK.W2B also advises using resin cleaner once in 6months etc, whereas our friends using Harveys did not receive any such advice and we could see their softener is not working as well as it used to be when new.The w2b softener setup is easy and nicely explained in the YouTube videos. It's definitely the best quality one. It reduced water hardness from "Very Hard" 300+ ppm to 0 ppm. Also, the regeneration is done only when required and for 2 of us, it takes about 5 days to regenerate, as we are conscious not to waste water in any of our usages. We need hard water for the Kitchen sink, hence using a plumber to lay the pipework and using a w2b water filter for drinking water, which is cheap and good quality for the money.The customer service team is very helpful and practical in all their suggestions. Very swift and respectful in all their communications.Would definitely recommend W2B water softeners !číst dál

I've been with Water2buy for nearly ten years now. I've had the same RO system with no issues. Before I bought, I called them. They were very knowledgeable about the area's water pressure and advised that I did not need a pump.Great prices on... systems and replacement filters. Any queries over the years were promptly dealt with over the phone. Nice bunch of guys.I had one issue with a coupon they sent me, it wouldn't work in Euros. They offered to call me but I decided to buy the new RO system without the discount as it was already cheap. I have two RO600 osmotic filtration systems, in different houses, both drawing from a 100m bore hole in Portugal. The water from the bore hole is probably safe, as far as I know, but it is mineral rich and *may* contain other undesirables, such as... the weedkiller glyphosate, which is heavily used here.The systems are brilliant, the water comes out clear and taste free, and is easier to drink than any other water I have tried. With a cheap electronic tester, I found that the RO water had less particulates than mountain spring water (from Facha, Viana do Castelo) and less than distilled water from the supermarket. Consequently I also use it in my solar power battery bank without hesitation.I needed some spare parts recently, they were sent FOC and with free delivery from Ireland (not UK after Brexit). This is the 2nd unit I've bought personally for my own home. (Moved house in case you're wondering)But because I had a softener, my home's value had increased.Bought numerous units for private installations of the same type.Once you set it up... (majority come already preset and well within the region that I would have set them anyway).All you do is add salt. And that's pretty much it! Purchased this, after reading good reviews, to replace an existing softener which had failed. Very pleased with the speed of delivery and ease of installation. Needed to purchase the separate installation kit as well because the unit doesn’t come... with hoses. Mine is a newer model that doesn’t have an overflow, something I discovered after trying to find out where to connect the overflow hose. Hace 2 años instalé un descalcificador Water2buy 200 en mi piso y el sistema marcha muy bien reduciendo calcáreo del agua dura de Valencia (+/- 250 ppm) lo que es muy importante para mejorar el desempeño de la caldera, lavadora de ropa y la... cualidad del baño (en especial para la hidratación del pelo). Con las tiras de prueba se puede confirmar con precisión el ajuste de la descalcificación del agua. The water softner is perfect and leave no more limescale around the sink or bathroom, the water is silky so that no need to put body lotion aftrer bath or shower. My dishwasher was working on and off as had water flow fault , since I have installed... the water2buy water softner it works perfect, it seems that all the lime scale inside the machine washed out.I recommend to everyone to have a water softner installed at home. I am quite happy with this brand, However had two issues for the installation. The manual looks a bit complicated in some points, it does not explain anything about the service knob so I did know how I should deal with it, i was wondering should set it to a certain point or leave it as it is, the second issue is that this machine does not come with installation kit and took me time to find out that they sell it separately online but it was too late as I got them from different source.Thank you for reading my reviewčíst dál

Bought the W2B500 Water Softener and its everyting that Water2Buy said it was. We had been having trouble wth dry skin and iritations but since we installed the softener all skin issues cleared up within days. Drinking water is also clear and tastes... great . I have had both the water softener system and a reverse osmosis water filter system which have both worked admirably now for over a year. I have had to call their customer service three times during this period. (twice during installation) and once... when a filter cartridge failed. My calls were handled immediately and I recieved a resolution there and then, with replacement items shipped to me without a quibble and even though I am in another country I had free delivery as well. A great product which was purchased on recommendation from a friend. In my opinion the only 100% relaible product to remove limescale from your water. I got my reverse osmosis filter from water2buy good few years ago. Got it delivered home within couple of days. Had to get help to install it at first as I'm not a plumber, but ever since then, I'm changing the filters all by myself and enjoy the... pure water from the tab. We use it to cook and drink and my kettle has no limescale at all! Two months ago I bought and installed a water softener (type W2B500)So far everything works perfectly and flawlessly.The salt consumption is minimal, as is the rinsing moisture.No errors, nor shortcomings.The company follows everything closely,... and provides feedback and support if necessary.The only thing that I have changed and added is an extra shut-off valve, with drain valve, so that I can more easily monitor and control the water softness. Nach langen Googeln im Net habe ich mich für die Water2Bay Anlage entschieden.Sie läuft bis jetzt seit 3 Wochen ohne Probleme . Anfänglich hat das Wasser irgendwie moderig geschmeckt, aber nach 2 Spülungen die ich von Hand angestoßen habe kann... ich keinen Unterschied mehr feststellen.Über die Haltbarkeit usw. kann ich heute leider noch nichts sagen werde ich aber in nem halben Jahr nachholen. Ich habe die Härte von über 15dH auf 5-7dH eingestellt siehe Bilder. Wenn Ihr überlegt eine Enthärtungsanlage zu kaufen sprecht bitte mit dem Installateur vorher darüber. Bei mir im Haus habe ich alles in Edelstahl somit habe ich keinen Lochfraß wenn der dH Wert sehr niedrig ist. Gruß M.W.číst dál

Just purchased the W2B800 Water Softener, my diy installation is now complete it's working well. The unit is well put together and given the price comparison with others it represents excellent value.Whilst there are just the two of us in the house... we do occasionally have up to 8 or more, in addition our consumption is around half a cubic metre a day and we therefore chose the larger unit as we are not constrained by the need for it to go under the sink and our old unit (20 years old) could only cope with 1300 litres between regenerations. It will be interesting to see how the W2B800 performs over the long term but for now, at least, things auger well on that front.číst dál

Ich bin der Funktion des Geräts bis jetzt sehr zufrieden. Die Installation war überschaubar und die Einstellungen mit der BNT Bedienungsanleitung auch machbar. Die Installation des Montageblock musste ein Installateur machen (Pressmuffen und... Kunststoffleitungen) der Rest war relativ einfach. Der Salzverbrauch war bisher 2 Säcke auf 3 Monate bei einem 4 Personenhaushalt. Alle sind begeistert vom weichem Wasser , vorher 21 dh jetzt 7 dh.Folgende Punkte sind dennoch Verbesserungsbedürftig:- Verpackung ; Packet war beschädigt wie bei vielen Anderen (Grund billige Verpackung) besseres Material und ein Kantenschutz wären gut . Die Diskussion mit dem Packet dienst müsste nicht sein , nach schauen ob die Ware beschädigt ist, ist auf jeden Fall anzuraten (grüne Abdeckhaube defekt ?).- Eine Aussagekräftige Bedienungsanleitung wäre sinnvoll , andere Könnens auch (BNT)- Kunststoffverschraubungen am Steuerventil , da wir am falschem Ende gespart.- DVGW Zertifizierung wäre nicht schlecht , der Installateur sagt er darf die Anlage nicht anschließen.číst dál

Tolles Gerät zum kleinen Preis. Macht was es soll. Salzverbrauch ist unterhalb dessen, was ich selbst vermutet habe. Bis jetzt (6 Wochen), habe ich erst einen halben 25 kg sack verbraucht. Einstellung des Härtegrades macht sich am besten mit einem... Gesamthärte Messbesteck, was es hier bei amazon für ca. 10 Euro gibt. Beim Water2buy Anschlußset mit Gewebeschlauch würde ich persönlich abraten und lieber im deutschen Fachhandel die Gewebeschläuche kaufen. Die Anlage selbst kann wirklich durch Nichthandwerker installierrt werden, allerdings Grundkenntnisse vom Sanitär müssen vorhanden sein.číst dál

I have two RO600 osmotic filtration systems, in different houses, both drawing from a 100m bore hole in Portugal. The water from the bore hole is probably safe, as far as I know, but it is mineral rich and *may* contain other undesirables, such as... the weedkiller glyphosate, which is heavily used here.

The systems are brilliant, the water comes out clear and taste free, and is easier to drink than any other water I have tried. With a cheap electronic tester, I found that the RO water had less particulates than mountain spring water (from Facha, Viana do Castelo) and less than distilled water from the supermarket. Consequently I also use it in my solar power battery bank without hesitation.

I needed some spare parts recently, they were sent FOC and with free delivery from Ireland (not UK after Brexit). The customer service has been faultless (thanks Steve).číst dál

I bought a self- install reverse osmosis kit from this company. It was very well priced. The unit itself is very well made also. Installing the filter takes a bit of time but the instructions are clear and you have a few different options to connect... to the water feed. The beauty of this system is that you don't have to pay huge amounts of money every year for an engineer to come and service the filter. You do it yourself! Had to get help to install it at first as I'm not a plumber, but ever since then, I'm changing the filters all by myself and enjoy the pure water from the tab. If only all companies were as good as this one. The after sales service is excellent, it’s just like old companies should be. When I bought my water softener I also purchased a pair of flexible connection hoses. I subsequently found I didn’t need... them and emailed the company to see if they’ll accept a return for a refund. To my surprise they told me that it was an economical for them to collect the hoses, I could keep them and they would refund me anyway. Zdenek, person who dealt with this for me couldn’t have been more helpful, he kept me informed throughout. The free delivery to Spain was super-fast. The packet arrived in perfect condition. The initial instructions are quite simple and adequate. I had a couple of doubts on the set-up which were dealt with immediately by W2B. Installation was very simple... and and the resulting change in water quality almost unbelievable. Within 24 hours the Test strips had gone from 4 bars maximum calcium to 4 bars of low calcium. I am talking about model 400.
My only criticism of water2buy is that they should give more information on maintenance e.g. when do we have to clean/change the resin ? I've seen something about this on you-tube so I hope to find out before it becomes necessary. For the moment I am a very satisfied customer.číst dál

Very cheap compared to the competition yet still very good service. Was offered free installation as I spoke to them directly through their website. Original plumber couldn't make the appointment so they organised another from out of catchment 2... hours away after some 'encouragement'. Poor guy had a very small space to work with but got it done, and drove himself to nearby store to get any parts. Small leak after he left but he drove back about 20 mins to sort it. still running ok after a year. smell coming from salt blocks since i deep cleaned and cleaned the resin but am waiting for a call back to talk it through. Recommended to friends and family especially if in a new build so your new pipes can stay like new.číst dál

Got it installed by a plumber. Very tricky and difficult installation as the apparatus was installed in a different location. 4+ hours spent by an engineer. He was very patient and made sure that he does everything right first time. Extremy... pleased.

Super easy install; I had a plumber fit mine bit having watched him do it, next time I'd fit it myself.
Works instantly; the effects were felt instantly and within 48 hours our tank had pushed out all the untreated water and refilled with lovely... softened water. Soft silky shower water and the glass screen doors look less cloudy already. A good clean should get them looking like new and lasting longer than ever before.

I had my W2B 200 for about 5 years and it had given soft water without any problems. I then suffered a power surge that fried the control board. I contacted the company and was expecting to hear that it was outside the warranty so they couldn't... help. Instead they sent me a new control board and when this didn't fix the problem they sent a complete new Control Head. I have never dealt with a more customer friendly and knowledgeable team. They go above and beyond for there customers and I have recommended them to all of my friends.

They both work excellently - very good value for money!

I've had to ask for... help on the online chat a couple of times - always received very good advice

If I were to suggest any improvements:
- I'm not a fan of the screw-in-junction (would be good if the Reverse Osmosis unit came with a proper t-piece
- These two units complement each other - the reverse osmosis unit for drinking water, the water softener for everything else - would be good to see them sold as a bundle

I'd like:
- It would be good to see both units enhanced to have smart home capability so that you can monitor performance / control schedules / monitor filter and salt levels "live"číst dál

Vraiment très satisfait ! J'ai acheté un W2B200 sur Amazon. Après avoir vu les différents commentaires, j'ai voulu tenter ma chance et je ne suis vraiment pas déçu. Tout ce qui est dit est vrai. J'avais une eau très dure mais c'était avant.... je... dois encore maitriser certains réglages notamment pour le petit gout salé qu'a l'eau. Ce n'est pas désagréable mais peut gêner un peu. A priori l'installation d'un filtre à cartouche en sortie d'adoucisseur peut régler ce problème.

Pour résumer.... ALLEZ Y LES YEUX FERMES !! Installation rapide et produit TRES EFFICACE.číst dál

I have two RO600 osmotic filtration systems, in different houses, both drawing from a 100m bore hole in Portugal. The water from the bore hole is probably safe, as far as I know, but it is mineral rich and *may* contain other undesirables, such as... the weedkiller glyphosate, which is heavily used here.

The systems are brilliant, the water comes out clear and taste free, and is easier to drink than any other water I have tried. With a cheap electronic tester, I found that the RO water had less particulates than mountain spring water (from Facha, Viana do Castelo) and less than distilled water from the supermarket. Consequently I also use it in my solar power battery bank without hesitation.

I needed some spare parts recently, they were sent FOC and with free delivery from Ireland (not UK after Brexit). The customer service has been faultless (thanks Steve).číst dál
