HARD WATER – WATER SOFTENER DOESN’T WORK
1. Check if two red valves on the bypass on the back of the unit are fully opened. If they are open the red handles are in parallel position. If they are closed, then the red handles are pointing to each other.
2. Check the water level in the brine tank. When the brine tank is empty of salt then the water level should be about ¼ or 1/3 inside the brine tank. If there is too much water, follow WATER SOFTENER OVERFLOWS. If there is less or no water, then follow NO WATER IN BRINE TANK.
3.
a) On the main display in the first line is the daytime and type of regeneration. It should look as this eg. 14:01 MD. Is that correct?
b) If the second line is REG.CAP number it should look approx. as this eg. 02.53T (You have there probably different numbers. This is only an example). This REG.CAP. number should be counting down to the zero when you use the water.
c) When you open taps at your home is this REG.CAP. number decreasing? It should count down for each 10 liters. So e.g., if you use 10 liters of water at home then this number should change to 02.52T and then for next 10 liters to 02.51T etc.
d) If the REG.CAP. number doesn’t decrease follow

WATER SOFTENER DOES NOT REGENERATE AUTOMATICALLY
1. On the main display in first line is the day time and type of regeneration. It should look as this eg. 14:01 MD. Is that correct?
2. In second line is REG.CAP number it should look approx. as this eg. 02.53T (You have there probably different number. This is only example). This REG.CAP. number should be counting down to the zero when you use the water.
3. When you open taps at your home is this REG.CAP. number decreasing? It should count down for each 10 litres. So eg. if you use 10 litres of water at home then this number should change to 02.52T and then for next 10 litres to 02.51T etc.
4. If the REG.CAP. number doesn´t decrease then check the cable which is attached to the bypass. This cable with sensor has to be fully clipped in.
5. If yes and it is still not counting down then please watch this video from time 0:30 till 1:35.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCLdjSeDzog
6. The wheel has to spin.
7. If the wheel spins and counts as in video then try if the unit regenerates automatically by following steps.
8. Change the regeneration type in settings from METER DELAY to METER IMMEDIATE.
9. Then change the regeneration capacity to 00.01T.
10. Turn the tap and when the number on display reaches 00.00T then it should start clean immediately. Then during regeneration process in position BRINE the unit should suck up all water out from the brine tank and in position REFILL the water should be added back to the brine tank.

WATER SOFTENER OVERFLOWS
1. It looks as your brine pipe may be loose. Please check if the nuts on white hose and grey tube are not loose. If the nuts are loose then no water is sucked out of brine tank. So the new water is added during REFILL to the remaining water level and brine tank overflows.
2. If the nuts are tight please check the injectors. If there is a dirt in the injector then it can overflow too because the unit can fill up the Brine tank instead of sucking water out. Please check this English video from time 1:50. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCLdjSeDzog

NO WATER IN BRINE TANK
1. Please check this. When you start manual regeneration by moving middle knob to next position BACKWASH and it stops there then press SELECT button (left down button).
2. Then it stops at BRINE. When it stops press SELECT and it gets to the RINSE then again by SELECT get to the REFILL.
3. When it stops at REFILL please check if water flows to the brine tank through the white pipe to the grey tube.
4. If no water flows then it seems that the refill regulator can be blocked. Please remove all the brass part that is marked on the photos.
5. Then check if the rubber inside the brass piece is blocked. There may be traces of dirt in the hole in the middle of the rubber. You can clean it with the needle.
6. If you have brass part unscrewed and want to see if this causes problem then you can repeat the steps 1, 2 and 3. Just be careful because from the hole in the control head body will probably flows lot of water. If from control head body flows water without attached brass refill regulator piece then for sure there is fault in this brass refill regulator. Then you can stop it by turning the central knob to the SERV position.

WATER SOFTENER DISCHARGES CONSTANTLY TO THE DRAIN
1. It looks as seal on bigger middle piston inside the valve is cracked. Please check this video from 7th minute. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Et_TS3cDSOo

2. If the seals are not cracked then try to lubricate them and return them back. This may also stop the leak.

3. If you think the seals are cracked and need to be changed then please contact us.

HOW TO ADJUST OR INCREASE OUTLET WATER HARDNESS
1. If mixing valve is turned fully counter clockwise then the water should be fully soft. When you turn mixing valve clockwise then it starts to add hard water to inlet soft water. You can see mixing valve in the manual. Level of hardness you need to adjust with hardness test kit.

2. If you cannot increase hardness more than you need then please try another thing.

Open two red valves on bypass manifold about 45 degrees. It starts to mix hard water from inlet with the soft outlet water. You can open and close the valves as much as soft water you need. If they are completely closed, then the water is just hard. If they are fully open the water is only soft. So something between that should mix the water.

HOW THE WATER SOFTENER WORKS
On the Keypad hold the button down the menu button until the screen unlocks
When the screen is unlocked you will see a number underneath the time that looks like 00.55T
[The number may be different for you]
This is the remaining capacity in your water softener before it needs to do its nest regeneration the number shown is the volume of water that you will need to use before the next regeneration [ .55 metric ton approximately 550 Liters ]
Remember this number or write it down!
Next press the menu button again to enter the setting menu
Press down arrow until you get to the REG.CAP menu
The number displayed here is the regeneration capacity in metric tons
your water softener started counting down from this number and will reset to this number after the next regeneration
A regeneration is a cleaning cycle for your water softener
this setting needs to be configured correctly for your home when the softener is installed
Compare the number in the reg.cap menu to the front screen number the front screen number should be lower showing that the water usage is been measured and the water softener is working
When the number on the front of the screen reaches zero the water softener will regenerate at that nest set time {usually set 2 am or 3 am ]

DISPLAY DOESN’T WORK OR IT IS MALFUNCTIONING
1. If the display doesn´t light then try first with voltmeter if the 12V AC are on the output of power supply. If no, then the power supply is faulty and needs to be replaced.
2. If the power supply works and display is not lighting or it is malfunctioning then the motherboard is faulty and needs to be changed.

WATER SOFTENER USES TOO MUCH SALT
1. Check if the REG.CAP. number in settings is correct according to the manual book. If yes then the hardness value of your water is too high or your water usage is too high and your unit needs to use so many salt.

2. Check if REFILL time in settings is correct. It should be 04.0 for model W2B200, 06.0 for model W2B500 and 09.0 for model W2B800.

3. Check the water level in the brine tank. When the brine tank is empty of salt then the water level should be about ¼ or 1/3 inside the brine tank. If there is too much water follow WATER SOFTENER OVERFLOWS.

4.
a) On the main display in first line is the day time and type of regeneration. It should look as this eg. 14:01 MD. Is that correct?
b) In second line is REG.CAP number it should look approx. as this eg. 02.53T (You have there probably different number. This is only example). This REG.CAP. number should be counting down to the zero when you use the water.
c) When you open taps at your home is this REG.CAP. number decreasing? It should count down for each 10 litres. So eg. if you use 10 litres of water at home then this number should change to 02.52T and then for next 10 litres to 02.51T etc.
d) If the REG.CAP. number counts down faster than mentioned in previous step then the motherboard is faulty and needs to be replaced.

HOW THE WATER SOFTENER WORKS
Timer water softener regenerates after a set number of days.
The control head has to be set up at the correct time of a day on the 24-timer wheel which is located behind the main knob. The time is indicated by an arrow under the knob.
The time can be adjusted by pressing the red time set button on the left and then turning with the 24-timer wheel.
After the time is set the regeneration frequency needs to be adjusted.
Your water softener has been pre-programmed to regenerate at 2 am each morning.
On the right side is a 12-day Skipper wheel. This skipper wheel has 12 numbers. Only one number is always indicated with a red pointer. The pointed number changes forward every 24 hours. If there is for example number 2 now, then tomorrow there will be number 3 etc.
Each number has a pin beside itself. If the number at the red pointer has the pin pushed in then nothing happens at 2 am and the wheel turns to the next number only. If the pin beside the number is pulled out then the automatic regeneration cleaning process starts, and the water softener is being flushed.
The regeneration frequency depends on the local hardness and the amount of people living at home.
For example, according to the table in the manual book for model W2B110 W2B300 &W2B700, the house with 250ppm hardness and 4 people needs to pull out every 6th pin. It means the unit needs to regenerate every second day. So you need to pull out pins 2,4,6,8,10 and 12.

SALT & WATER CONSUMPTION
Salt & Water consumption or the timer water softener the water consumption for regeneration is 160 liters and the salt usage depend on your setting on average the timer water softener would use a 25kg bag of salt Pre-month.

FLOW RATED
The flow rate of Our water softener is 118 liters per minute so they would not be any pressure lose
